Adding Clients to Your Allia Panel

Add a client in 1-click

Just enter your client’s name and email—they’ll appear on your panel instantly, ready for sessions or scheduling. This guide shows you how it works.

      How to Add a Client

      Go to your Allia dashboard and click Add Patient. Enter your client’s name and email, then click Add Patient (or press enter). Their name will instantly appear on your panel. Once added, you can send a telehealth invite or start an instant session.



      What Happens When You Add a Client?

      Allia automatically sends the client an email inviting them to create an account and download the Allia Health mobile app. The app gives them access to session links, assessments, forms, and secure messaging—it’s how they get the full Allia experience.


      Can You Start a Session Right Away?

      Yes. You don’t need to wait for your client to create an account. As soon as they’re added, you can schedule an appointment or start a session instantly. Allia will send them a secure one-click video link by email—they can join from any device, no login required.

      If you're only using Allia for telehealth, they don’t need to create an account at all. But if you’d like them to fill out forms, track progress, or use messaging, they’ll need to finish onboarding through the email invite Allia sends.


      Track Client Status and Send Reminders

      You can see a client’s status by checking their profile ring or visiting the Patients tab in the Management page.

      • Email Verified: The client has created a password but hasn’t completed onboarding. This means they haven’t downloaded the app or logged in to finish setup.

      • Yellow: The client has downloaded the app but hasn’t finished onboarding—typically they haven’t completed required forms like consent or intake.

      • Green: The client has completed onboarding in the app, including logging in and submitting any required forms.

      If they haven’t signed up yet and you want to give them a nudge, go to Manage → Patients and click Send Reminder Email.
