Wearable Integration with Allia

Allia integrates with over 200 devices—including Oura, Apple Watch, and Fitbit—so instead of asking “How’s your sleep been?” you can already see the trend.

This guide shows you how it works.

      Overview

Allia integrates with over 200 wearable devices, allowing clients to share real-world data on sleep, movement, heart rate, and more. This information appears in your provider dashboard and in your client’s mobile app as easy-to-read visual charts. By adding bio-behavioral context between sessions, wearables help clinicians track patterns, support treatment planning, and personalize care. Data is securely synced and can be turned on or off by the client at any time.

How Your Clients Can Connect a Wearable

Your client can connect their device in two easy ways:

      • During onboarding: They’ll see an option to connect their wearable when they first set up their Allia app.

      • Anytime later: They can also connect or disconnect their device anytime from the Settings tab in the app.

They’re always in control—clients can stop sharing data at any time.

      What Your Clients Can See

Clients see their wearable data right in the mobile dashboard under the Insights tab.

It shows them the same trends you can see—like changes in sleep, movement, or stress levels—using clear, visual charts.

This helps them track how they’re doing and stay engaged between sessions.

What You See as a Clinician

      To view wearable data:

      1. Go to your client’s dashboard

      2. Click View Insights

      3. Navigate to the Markers tab

You’ll see charts that show trends over time.

      • The top chart is great for getting a quick sense of how things are going

      • The bottom chart lets you dig deeper into specific markers like sleep or activity

We recommend switching to the bar chart view for a clearer visual of daily trends—it’s easier to spot changes over time.

You can adjust the time range or compare two different types of data side by side.

“I have ADHD and my sleep sucks. It massively affects my mental health. But, I am embarrassed to tell my therapists my sleep was really bad last week, after we said this was my goal. Being able to share it with them, without me having to ‘own up’ to this, makes it much easier”
